To start off the first semester of our course we were we were presented with 40 project titles; categorized by 4 headlines- IMAGE, OBJECT, CONTEXT and DISPLAY. I have started with IMAGE.

Although the titles firstly shocked me at how broad they were, I began to look into how I could twist them into something more interesting than a plain title.

'CREATE A FIVE MINUTE SILENT FILM BASED ON A SMALL PART OF EVERYDAY LIFE.'

To introduce us to the artistic surrounding in Birmingham, a small tour of the local galleries were shown to us in the first week. Our first visit was the Ikon Gallery located in Brindley Place near the city center. This was where I saw my initial idea for the 5minute film I was going to create.
