Fail.

Instead of regular printing of the front cover I wanted to experiment using another workshop skill I picked up in the Silk Screen workshop.
I wanted to use this skill because I liked the idea of having a handmade front cover. this did not go well;

I really like the look of these silk-screen printed designs, but I just don't think it would look neat enough for a zine which displays other peoples works. If i was to make it rough and extremely hand made I would definitely use this idea for the front cover. But it does not match my zine.

This was the initial coloured people and initial idea for my cover. I do not think I'm going to progress which this coloured paper because I think it looks unprofessional. Although I would like to use a neat but textured sugar paper- this can portray the hand made feel that is inside.
