According to the source of the zines, coloured manufactured zines were, back in the day, seen as expensive and that were usually only printed in colour if a sponsor was displayed in it.

Local archive zine covers. These however are a little more 'rock' themed compared to my zine. I was able to talk to the person who gave me these archives and he explained that zines were could be reproduced for anyone and could be about anything. I would like to think that mine would be for students who would like to collaborate together in future projects.
